Hey, I'm Greek and I can recognize both cacik and the fritters. In Greece cacik is "tzatziki" and the fritters are called "pseftokeftethes" (means "fake meatballs"). Both of them are from Turkish origin, as most of Greek food, so I'm not that much surprised. It seems the book is very good - you also seem a skillful cook - , judging from the result in the photos :)
