As my husband can attest, I am a little more germaphobic than your average person (though not quite at OCD-level), and one thing that grosses me out not a little bit is when you put the colander in the sink and dump the boiling spaghetti in, and all the water backs up so whatever was in your drain is now floating up to mingle with your noodles.
